Temporary Restraining Order Bond

Unlike injunction bonds, which must be issued only after notification to the parties, a Temporary Restraining Order Bond can be granted immediately, without notifying the party that is opposing one in a court case or law suit.

Temporary Restraining Order bonds are made to stop a person that could and probably would leave lasting damage that could not be fixed if the order was not issued.

These bonds are temporary in that they are only meant to last until a court hearing can be held.

A Temporary Restraining Order Bond holds the plaintiff responsible for paying damages to the defendant by reason of the order.
