Receiver Bond

A receiver is a court-appointed officer of the court who is entrusted to receive certain things while contemplating a matter under issue before it. In many cases, the receiver is issued to collect the rent, profit from land, produce, or some other type of property.

When involved with receiver bonds, the receiver appointed by the court is responsible for any losses or damages as long as the loss or damage is due to the receiver's negligence of duty or the receiver's dishonest acts.

A receiver bond exists in favor of all interested parties in the proceedings of the receiver or property being received by said receiver.
