Garnishment Bond

A garnishment bond is related to forthcoming, or delivery, bonds.
Forthcoming bonds protect police officials and give them the authority to return property that has been repossessed as long as the person or entity reclaiming said property agrees to surrender the property in the event that an adverse judgment occurs. These bonds ensure that, should it be necessary, something will be forthcoming or surrendered, and they protect police officials from dishonest activity.
A garnishment bond requires that a garnishment be taken as collateral from repossessed property to remedy the situation for the time being.
These bonds also protect the police officials from dishonest activity.
